First-time Disney Vacation Club owners can now acquire points in the expansion to Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows with discounts of $5-13 per point for 150 or more points.
Beginning October 29, 2024 new owners are now able to buy into the new Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The resort features a base price of $225 per point. However incentives of $5-13 per point apply when buying at least 150 vacation points.

The minimum purchase for a first-time buyer actually goes as low as 100 points. However there are no discounts when buying between 100-149 points, and owners will not meet the threshold for DVC's Membership Extras perks program. When buying fewer than 150 points, new owners will not qualify for benefits like the Sorcerer Annual Pass, access to the DVC members-only lounges, participation in Moonlight Magic events and more. .
With a purchase of 150 poin points, buyers would pay $220 per point or a total of $33,000 plus closing costs and fees. This gives the owner 150 vacation points to use each year from now until January 2066 when the ownership interest expires. 150 points is sufficient to spend more than a week in a Deluxe Studio villa during certain weeks of the year. Island Tower is an addition to the existing Polynesian resort condominium association. As such, tower buyers will share the same January 31, 2066 contract end date and 2024 annual dues of $8.23 per point. Dues will be pro-rated from the estimated opening of December 17, 2024. Dues for 2025 should be released in November and ratified by the Disney Vacation Club board in December.
New owners can begin making reservations with the points at the Polynesian beginning November 5, 2024.
Island Tower sales opened to current DVC owners back on October 1, 2024 with incentives that ranged from $10-17 per point. These rates are set to remain in effect until December 11, 2024, however DVC reserves the right to change at any time.
