Disney shared images of the Moana figure being installed at the new kids splash pad located near Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Less than 2 months away from its grand opening, crews continue to make progress on the new Island Tower building. The latest milestone saw the life-size Moana sculpture installed near the resort's new pool complex.
Island Tower brings more than 200 additional Disney Vacation Club villas to the Polynesian, along with a new pool and kids water playground, bar, restaurant, fitness center and more. A post to the Disney Parks Blog reveals that the area will allow kids to "discover the wonders of water with playful sprayers and bubbly fountains all around them as imaginations flow free."
Additional details are visible in a short video posted to TikTok.
Island Tower points are now available for purchase by current Disney Vacation Club owners. Sales open to first-time buyers on October 29, 2024. The building is set to open to guests on December 17.
