Promotional incentives for purchasing new vacation points have generally improved, but for a very limited time in conjunction with Disney Vacation Club's annual member celebration.  

Historically, the month of June is one of the slower periods for direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points.  In 2026, June played to form as sales registered their lowest monthly total for the calendar year.

In June 2026, Disney began the months-long regulatory process so that next year it can start selling ownership interests in Disney Lakeshore Lodge, which will be the 18th resort in the Disney Vacation Club.  In the meantime, sales for the existing resorts continue to exhibit slow but steady improvement.

Like a roller coaster in a Disney theme park, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points move up and down from month to month.  In April 2026, sales dipped compared to the past three months.  But when compared to the prior 12 months, April’s sales data show direct sales to be fairly steady. 

New Disney Vacation Club promotional incentives offer per-point discounts as high as $28 off a first time purchase of 150 points. While a new offer for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel includes four 2-Day Park Hopper tickets with purchase or add-on.
