New Disney Vacation Club owners who recently made their first purchase at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can now secure reservations at Island Tower up to 11 months in advance.

One week ago, Disney Vacation Club began selling Island Tower points to first time buyers. Now those owners can make their first reservations using the brand new points. Beginning November 5, 2024, new Island Tower owners can book stays at the building up to 11 months in advance of check-in.
The new building is set to open on December 17, 2024. As of November 5, owners have access to all check-in dates from December 17, 2024 through October 5, 2025.
Island Tower will open with limited inventory for members booking with DVC points. The first rooms declared into the Polynesian condominium assocation consist of the following:
- 9 - Duo Studios
- 14 - Dedicated Studios
- 4 - Dedicated One-Bedrooms
- 10 - Lockout Two-Bedrooms
- 1 - Dedicated Two-Bedroom
- 2 - Two-Bedroom Deluxe
Additional inventory will be added as sales progress, until nearly the entire tower is accessible to DVC members booking with points.
This comes three weeks after current DVC owners with Polynesian points were able to begin booking Island Tower on October 15, 2024. As such, availability may be limited. New buyers may wish to contact their DVC sales representative to inquire about a so-called "Welcome Home visit." Sales agents are sometimes able to reach into the developer-held inventory to obtain a room for a new buyer's very first visit.
The DVC members-only website opens daily for reservations at 8:00am eastern. However, for this special booking window, owners must call Member Services which opens at 9:00am eastern.
Effective November 19, Island Tower reservations will open to all Disney Vacation Club owners, subject to the 7-month window for points from other eligible locations. Some points purchased via the resale marketplace are not valid for stays at the Polynesian or other DVC resorts. Online reservations for Island Tower will be available via the members-only website beginning on November 19.
