Disney Vacation Club has released Points Charts for The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, confirming the economical value of this new destination.
Points Charts for 2024 and 2025 are now available and displayed below. The 2024 chart begins with dates in July, mirroring the resort's expected opening. The 2025 chart reflects the 7 different periods or date ranges utilized for other DVC properties at Walt Disney World.
The cheapest stays can be had during the month of September when a cabin will cost just 15 points per weeked and 18 per weekend. January and early May costs are just one point higher per night at 16 / 19 and the popular early-December period is priced at 18 points per weekday and 21 per weekend.
At these rates, a 150 point minimum purchase of Disney Vacation Club could yield as many as 9 consecutive nights in January, September or early May. That same number of points would also be sufficient for 8 nights between May 15 - June 10 and December 1 - 23.
During the peak season around Easter and Christmas, nightly rates max out at 32 vacation points per weekday and 36 per weekend.
The charts make no mention of different "view" or location categories. Some of the cabins will be designated as dog friendly. There does not appear to be any points surcharge for bringing a pet, however DVC filings do indicate a nightly fee of $30 per night for owners and $50 for guests and other exchangers.
The complete points charts for both 2024 and 2025 can be found here in PDF format.
The cabins are expected to open on July 1, 2024. They will sleep up to 6 guests with a queen-size bed and twin bunk beds in a dedicated bedroom and a queen-size pull-down bed in the living room. Floor plans and concept art can be found in our prior coverage.
