Disney Vacation Club has released a wide variety of concept images for The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, with the latest offering a look at the bathroom and more.
Over the past month, Disney has published images featuring the living room, kitchen, bedroom and other areas of the forthcoming Disney Vacation Club units. Now we get a closer look at the bathroom (above). The split bathroom design offers one vanity outside of the main room and a second in the bathroom with the commode and shower. What isn't entirely clear is whether the bathroom features a tub and shower combination or a walk-in shower layout that has been recently utilized in some DVC studios.
Promotional materials released by Disney specifically mention a shower. However the detailed floorplan for the unit pictured above looks more like a traditional tub & shower combination. A bathroom storage cabinet is visible in both the artwork at the top and the floorplan. Also we can more clearly see storage options for the bedroom, which appears to have a tall cabinet on the lower left corner of the plan along with a multi-drawer bureau beneath the room's TV.
Finally an image of the room with the Murphy Bed pulled down showcases new Disney-themed artwork. Mickey Mouse lies in a hammock while Pluto sleeps nearby as the two are camping at Fort Wilderness. Sales of The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort open to current DVC owners beginning on February 1, 2024. New buyers can purchase on February 27. Prices are not yet known, however point charts have been released.
