Two Disney Vacation Club resorts were forced to close as Hurricane Irma approached.  One is due to reopen later this week while the other remains in limbo.

Members staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort can now enjoy complimentary miniature golf throughout their stay. 

After some delays, the new dining facilities are now open at Disney's Vero Beach Resort.  Disney Vacation Club members look to pay less than menu prices.

The area surrounding the new food service facilities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort is still quite a mess today, but things should begin shaping up very shortly.  

Disney's Vero Beach Resort survived Hurricane Matthew relatively unscathed, but work continues on the extensive refurbishments throughout the property.

Due to Hurricane Matthew, the National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane warning for Central Florida, including Orlando, Walt Disney World, and Vero Beach. 

UPDATE 10/6, 1pm:  Disney has announced that Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs will close at 5:00pm on Thursday 10/6 and remain closed all day on Friday 10/7.
