Many of the leisure amenities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort will be unavailable for about 2 months in fall 2020. 

Disney's Vero Beach Resort has been open a little longer, but has been employing many of the same protective measures as the Disney Vacation Club locations further north.

Disney Vacation Development has sold 26 acres of unused land adjacent to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. 

With Hurricane Dorian now making its way northward, the Disney Vacation Club resort will soon reopen to guests.

All beach access points in the Vero Beach and Indian River County areas are closed until further notice due to the presence of toxic red tide.
