Disney's Vero Beach Resort celebrated its 15th year of operations on Friday, October 1, 2010.  The Disney Parks Blog acknowledged the anniversary with a photograph from opening day and an entry entitled Disney's Vero Beach Resort Celebrates Milestone Year.

The newly-renovated and expanded spa facilities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort are now open for business.

Earlier this summer Cast Members at Disney's Vero Beach Resort were named the 2009 VoluntEARS Team of the Year.  89% of the cast at the Vero Beach resort participated in at least one of 29 volunteer programs in Indian River County during the year.

Upcoming guests at Disney's Vero Beach Resort will find new, more plush pool towels at the resort, along with a new procedure for obtaining and replacing the towels.

Notices posted to the website of Indian River County, Florida indicate that the beach adjacent to Disney's Vero Beach Resort will be undergoing a replenishment project beginning in early February.
