DVC begins charging closing costs for add-ons

Disney Vacation Club has updated its discount programs for all active resorts. The most noteworthy development lies in the fact that both current members and new buyers can still get the $130 base price for points at the Bay Lake Tower--with discounts of up to $18 per point.
The base price for direct point purchases at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is scheduled to increase from $130 per point to $140 per point effective Monday, March 7, 2011. Through Sunday March 6, buyers can still lock-in the $130 price along with current incentives including the added "Friends and Family" offer.

Disney Vacation Club has expanded the recent Friends and Family incentives to include new purchases and add-on at the Bay Lake Tower. These added incentives amount to an additional $2 per point reduction in the purchase price along with a $500 prepaid Visa card.
On December 1, 2010 the cost of points at the Bay Lake Tower went from $120 to $130 per point. Soon we will see yet another increase.
