December is usually a good month for direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points, and this past month was no different.

Several weeks ago Disney Vacation Club presented a webcast featuring Samatha Brown visiting Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas.  In addition to the close look at Disney's newest resort, webcast participants were offered special pricing for any points purchased.  Now DVC has announced that the webcast will be making a return in January.  

Outstanding balances for 2012 annual dues have been loaded to the DVCMember.com website.  

About a week ago Disney Vacation Club increased the price of points at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas from a base of $120 per point to $135 per point.  Now comes word that increases are planned for three other resorts being actively marketed.  

November 2011 saw the continuing decline in the number of Disney Vacation Club points sold directly by Disney. With only 161,328 points sold, November marked the third month in a row in which point sales were less than the month before. It also marked the smallest number of points sold during a month in well over a year.
