Disney Vacation Club has set aside Saturday, April 22, 2023 as the day to make reservations for the two exclusive member cruises planned for 2024.
From May 18-25, 2024, the Disney Dream will sail around the Mediterranean on an exclusive voyage for Disney Vacation Club members. The following month, members will board the Disney Magic for a 5-night trip from June 14-19 that includes stops at both Castaway Cay and the new Lighthouse Point.
DVC has revealed that booking for both cruises will take place from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023. During those hours, Member Services will only accept phone calls from members wishing to book either of the cruises. Member Services will open from 9:00 - 10:00 am to field calls on other matters.
In recent years, DVC has attempted to streamline the reservation process for Disney cruises. Members are asked to be pepared with their ID number, top 3 cabin category choices, dietary or medical needs and their Castaway Club number. Name, date of birth and other demographic information will also be collected on each individual traveling. During the initial call, Cast Members will collect this basic information and confirm participation on the cruise. A follow-up call will then take place 2-3 days later to gather additional information and secure payment.
Callers should expect extended wait times on the booking day. Number of cabins available in each category is limited. DVC exclusive cruises are known for selling-out in a single day.
In order to book the June voyage on the Disney Magic, at least one passenger must be paid for using Disney Vacation Club points which qualify for Membership Extras. This requirement has been waived for the May European trip on the Disney Dream. Full payment will be due on or before May 13, 2023.
Cash prices and point charts have not yet been released.
The European cruise is designated as a Member Cruise with unique entertainment, decor and stateroom gifts for all parties. The Bahamas voyage is a DVC Member-exclusive, however no additional extras will be provided.
