Disney Vacation Club is celebrating two "firsts" for its member cruises in 2024: the first members-only cruise to Europe and the first voyage featuring a stop--actually, two stops--at Disney's new private island Lighthouse Point.

In May 2024, Disney Vacation Club members have the opportunity to sail the Mediterranean aboard the Disney Dream. The 7-night voyage departs from Barcelona, Spain, making stops at multiple ports in Italy and France before returning to Barcelona.
The complete itinerary is as follows:
- Saturday, May 18, 2024 – Depart from Barcelona, Spain
- Sunday, May 19, 2024 – Enjoy a day at sea filled with unique experiences and special shows created with Members in mind
- Monday, May 20, 2024 – Arrive in Naples (Pompeii), Italy
- Tuesday, May 21, 2024 – Arrive in Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
- Wednesday, May 22, 2024 – Arrive in Livorno (Florence, Pisa), Italy
- Thursday, May 23, 2024 – Arrive in Villefranche (Monte Carlo, Nice), France
- Friday, May 24, 2024 – Take advantage of another relaxing, fun-filled day at sea
- Saturday, May 25, 2024 – Return to Barcelona, Spain
The following month, members can travel on the Disney Magic for a 5-night trip out of Fort Lauderdale with two stops at the brand new Lighthouse Point as well as a visit to Castaway Cay.
- Friday, June 14, 2024 – Depart from Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Saturday, June 15, 2024 – Arrive at Lighthouse Point
- Sunday, June 16, 2024 – Arrive at Disney Castaway Cay
- Monday, June 17, 2024 – Arrive at Lighthouse Point
- Tuesday, June 18, 2024 – Day at Sea
- Wednesday, June 19, 2024 – Return to Fort Lauderdale, FL
Disney Vacation Club members-only cruises are known for offering a slate of celebrity guests on board, as well as unique stateroom gifts for all travelers. Past cruises have featured appearances from the likes of composer Michael Giacchino, Pixar creative chief Pete Docter, Goofy voice actor Bill Farmer and many more. Note that the 7-night European cruise will be given the full Member Cruise treatment. While the June Disney Magic sailing is branded as a Member-Exclusive, fine print indicates that "regular cruise programming will not be altered and daily in-room gifts are not included."
Booking dates and prices have not yet been revealed. Both cash and points reservations will be offered. Points must qualify for Membership Extras in order ot be applied toward the cost of the cruise.
