In April 2023, Walt Disney World will reopen sales of Annual Passes and Disney Vacation Club members have one week to purchase ahead of the general public.
In a letter to members, Disney Vacation Club Senior Vice President & General Manager Bill Diercksen announced that Disney will resume selling annual passes beginning on April 20, 2023. Additionally, eligible DVC members will be able to purchase the Sorcerer Pass beginning on April 13, one week before passes open to the general public.
Diercksen claims that passes will be limited in availability and "may not be available at any given time." However the Sorcerer pass is expected to return more frequently for DVC memebers, even when not available to eligible Florida residents. Sales of Annual Passes have been suspended since November 2021.
The Sorcerer pass is currently priced at $969 per person, plus tax. It provides approximately 340 days per year of admission to the four Walt Disney World theme parks, with blockout dates typically imposed around Thanksgiving and from Christmas through the New Year holiday.
DVC owners must qualify for Membership Extras in order to purchase the Sorcerer pass. Eligibility currently requires at least 150 points purchased direct from DVC. Though some existing owners are grandfathered at lower levels.
To purchase, visit the Walt Disney World annual pass website. Members must log-in with the same Disney username and password which is linked to their ownership in order to buy any DVC exclusive offerings.
