25th Anniversary brings new ticket offer

Disney Vacation Club has officially launched its 25 Anniversary celebration. The website details many of the special events previously outlined along with a special members-only theme park ticket offer.

Walt Disney World's Magic Your Way tickets sell the park hopping option separately. Without the park hopping option, guests are limited to just one theme park visited per day. With park hopping, guests can visit 2, 3 or all 4 parks in a single day by spending one day on their admission ticket.

But park hopping comes at a cost. For 2-3 day passes, the park hopping add-on is $50 per person. For longer tickets, it increases to $64 each. A family of four could pay more than $250 for the option to park hop.

Disney Vacation Club has published updated Membership Magic perks booklets for all resort destinations, and in doing so leaked the first details regarding special events planned for the timeshare program's 25th anniversary.

Additionally, rumors are swirling about a potential members-only lounge within the Epcot theme park and other unannounced perks.

Despite sharing the same condo-style layout with Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Old Key West had the advantages of a more recognizable theme, larger guest rooms and lower nightly point costs.
