Disney Vacation Club members now have their own exclusive space in the Magic Kingdom with the debut of McKim's Mile House.
In late March 2025, McKim's Mile House made its debut at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The lounge is located in Frontierland, in the space formerly occupied by the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade. The lounge operates daily from 11am to 6pm.
Pro tip: If you want to visit early, you may want to queue up before 11am because lines do tend to form. Cast members will employ a waiting list when capaicty has been reached. Members will receive a text message when their turn has arrived, and have 10 minutes to return to the lounge to be admitted.
Like the DVC member lounges at EPCOT and Disneyland, the space features air conditioned seating along with free snacks and drinks. Charging stations for portable electronics are available, but the supply is limited.
The lounge's name is a tribute to Disney Imagineer Sam McKim whose work contributed to the development of Frontierland. There are also nods to other Disney lore including Imagineer Tony Baxter and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
The lounge has seating groups to accommodate about 20 parties, with a maximum capacity of around 60 individuals. There are no restrooms attached to the lounge.
While supplies last, DVC members visiting the lounge will receive a commemorative pin (pictured below.)
The lounge is available to all Disney Vacation Club owners who qualify for Membership Extras, as well as their guests. The member must be present in order to gain entry. Owners who participate in the Membership Magic Beyond program will have preference on the waiting list when it is utilized.
