Ft Wilderness Cabins

With more than 300 cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort being replaced and converted to Disney Vacation Club accommodations, it appears that the old cabins are being made available for purchase.

Kyle Brooks posted an ad on Facebook, offering to sell what appears to be the outgoing cabins for the price of $49,900 per unit. They are described as "fully furnished", with a promise to deliver within 45 minutes of Orlando at no additional cost. The post includes a link to a 3D rendering of the cabin interior. In replies to the post, Brooks claims that cabin removal will begin on March 19.

The cabins are essentially manufactured homes, and have been replaced or updated several times since their debut at Walt Disney World. It is not uncommon for Disney to use a third party to dispose of old hotel furnishings during a renovation. However, please note that DVCNews.com has no affiliation with the seller and cannot vouch for any aspect of this listing or the sales agent.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort will consist of entirely new units which are part of the Disney Vacation Club timeshare system. Points are currently on sale, and the first cabins are set to open on July 1, 2024
