Today representatives from The Walt Disney Company shared their resort plans with Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann.  Among the details revealed for the first time are the make-up of the new resort--350 hotel rooms and 480 Disney Vacation Club villas.

We have received some additional information regarding the immediate future of the Disney Vacation Club resort planned for the island of Oahu in Hawaii.  While Disney executives are working hard on many aspects of the resort, they are not quite ready to break ground.  That stage is still a few weeks away.  

But things are moving along.  Trust me.  Details will continue to emerge in the coming weeks as Disney has no intention of letting this project join the ranks of Eagle Pines or the Newport Coast Villas.
