CELEBRATION, Fla. (July 1, 2010) – Disney Vacation Club began selling real estate interests for the company’s first family-friendly destination resort in Hawai`i today. Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai`i, is scheduled to open its first phase in fall 2011 and will mark the eleventh resort for Disney Vacation Club.
Disney Vacation Club has historically been a point-based timeshare system in which members can utilize their ownership toward multiple resorts, villa sizes and seasons. But with the introduction of the Aulani resort in Hawai'i, DVC is poised to enter the world of fixed-week timeharing.
With advance sales for Disney's Aulani resort set to begin in just two days, we have obtained some new information about the Disney Vacation Club villa configuration, building opening dates and even dates on which members can begin making reservations.

While vacationing at Disneyland we managed to learn a few new things about the Aulani resort development including the date on which points will go on sale.
