After five months of battling head-to-head for Disney Vacation Club direct sales, Disney's Riviera Resort finally outsold Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. 

In June 2022, buyers still preferred Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa over Disney's Riviera Resort, however the margin grew thinner as total Disney Vacation Club point sales declined. 

Disney Vacation Development’s buybacks appear focused on three new targets including 83% of all recorded volume (26k points) at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. 

Disney Vacation Club has raised its direct prices $15-20 per point for three of its older "sold out" resorts including Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins. 

May 2022 direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points continued to outperform the recent 12-month average, however the initial bump inspired by Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has begun to fade.
