On the morning of August 15, 2024, Disney Vacation Club members have a second opportunity to register for the August 27 Moonlight Magic session at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
All qualifying DVC members will soon have an opportunity to register for the August 27 Moonlight Magic at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Registration opens at 11:00am Eastern on Thursday, August 15. The process utilizes a virtual queue to manage sign-ups. Members are advised to arrive in the waiting room prior to the designated start time. At 11:00am, all individuals in the waiting room will be assigned a random queue position. This queue position will determine whether or not the member can register for the event.

Early registration was held several weeks ago for guests who have hotel reservations on the night of the event. Advance registration is required in order to attend, and demand is expected to exceed capacity.
Moonlight Magic is a free after-hours event exclusive for DVC members. The event includes complimentary admission to the theme park with short wait times for most attractions, unique character encounters, free snacks and more.
Any DVC member who qualifies for Membership Extras is eligible to register. Reservations may be made for a maximum party size of 5--the member plus 4 additional guests. The qualifying DVC member must be present during the event, and able to provide both their digital DVC member card and a photo ID.
This is the final Moonlight Magic event currently planned for 2024. In years past, Disney Vacation Club has occasionally added more events on short notice. However, no such announcements have yet been made, nor has DVC released any details about Moonlight Magic for 2025. DVC's first Welcome Home Weeks celebration is currently under way with complimentary ice cream, character meets and more.
