Welcome Home Weeks is over, and gone with it are the limited time promotional rates for members adding to their Disney Vacation Club ownership.
During its third year of the Welcome Home Weeks member celebration, Disney Vacation Club offered special incentive pricing on the purchase of addiitonal Vacation Points. Along with some attractive per-point discounts, members could also benefit from a $750 bonus offer when adding 150 or more points at select resorts.
Those deals have now ended, and per-point incentives are down by as much as $5 per point at many resorts and purchase levels. The chart below illustrates the current savings at select quantities. Amounts listed are deducted from the base price cited for each resort.

The best offer for a 150-point add on is for The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. With a discount of $36 per point, owners would save $5400 off the purchase of 150 Vacation Points. These offers are valid now through October 5, 2026.
A limited time offer is also available for adding points at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.
Rates for first-time buyers remain unchanged. These incentives were introduced in late July and also run through October 5th.

Additional discounts may be available at higher purchase levels. Other incentive offers may be available to Chase Disney Visa cardholders, D23 fan club members, U.S. Military personnel, Disney cast members and more. The cast member discount is currently cited as having a value of $2,250 off a purchase of 150 points.
All buyers may also consider taking advantage of Magical Beginnings in order to reduce the up-front cost. Magical Beginnings is a program which offers buyers an additional credit equal to $20 per point when selling back their first year's points to Disney. The net price would be reduced by an additional $20 per point, however the buyer would not have points to use toward a trip until their second year of ownership. This program is available on both first-time purchases and add-ons, however certain resorts may be excluded. Annual Dues are still the responsibility of the buyer. Points from a future Use Year may be eligible for borrowing in order to vacation sooner.
