Yet another BLT price increase

Financial News & Pricing

On December 1, 2010 the cost of points at the Bay Lake Tower went from $120 to $130 per point.  Soon we will see yet another increase.

The base price for points at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is scheduled to increase to $140 per point effective March 7, 2011.

After March 7, there will be a grace period during which existing Disney Vacation Club members and non-members with a referral will be able to purchase at the $130 base price.  No word on how long that grace period may last.

Incentives are currently $13 off per point for add-ons of 100 or more and new purchases of 160 and up.  A single purchase of 250 or more points is discounted by $18 per point.

Bay Lake Tower was first offered for sale in September 2008 and Internet tracking of contact sales suggests that the resort will be officially "sold out" by DVC by mid-to-late 2011.
