Walt Disney World resort guests will soon have a more straightforward method of accessing their Disney+ account while vacationing.
Disney is rolling out enhancements to the digital TV platform at its resort hotels which will allow guests to log into their Disney+ accounts. Previously resort TV was loaded with a very limited version of the Disney+ streaming platform, while resort guests could use the casting feature to send content from their own smartphone or tablet.
The updated feature will allow Disney+ subscribers to log into their full account on the resort smart tv. It will also automatically log-out guests on their departure day.
The enhancements will be gradually rolled out to Walt Disney World resorts.
Disney+ has been recently updated to include content from both Hulu and ESPN+ for subscribers who also pay for those services.
