All varieties of Walt Disney World Annual Passes were increased in price overnight with the Disney Vacation Club Sorcerer Pass up $80 to $1079.
Effective immediately, Disney has increased the price of all 4 varieties of Annual Passes that it sells for its Florida theme parks. The increases range from about 4% to 8% depending on the type of pass. New rates are as follows:
- Incredi-Pass: $1549 (previously $1449)
- Sorcerer Pass: $1079 (previously $999)
- Pirate Pass: $829 (previously $799)
- Pixie Dust Pass: $469 (previously $439)
The Sorcerer Pass is available only to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members who qualify for Membership Extras. Owners must have at least 150 points purchased direct from DVC--or grandfathered under prior terms--in order to buy the lower-priced pass. The Sorcerer Pass offers more than 340 days of access to the Florida theme parks, with select blockout dates currently positioned around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Incredi-Pass is available to all guests, offering year-round admission to all 4 parks. The Pirate and Pixie Dust Passes are limited to Florida residents, and contain a variety of blockout dates.
Renewals are available for a discount of 15% off the full price. Renewal rates are as follows:
- Incredi-Pass: $1299 (previously $1229)
- Sorcerer Pass: $929 (previously $849)
- Pirate Pass: $709 (previously $679)
- Pixie Dust Pass: $399 (previously $369)
In order to receive the discounted rate, passes must be renewed within 30 days of their expiration. A renewal automatically extends the expiration for an additional year with no break in access dates.
These price increases come just days after Disney Vacation Club announced a new perks program with a $99 annual fee and Walt Disney World unveiled a new Lightning Lane Premier Pass which retails for up to $429 per person, per day.
