Disney Vacation Club Member Services and the members-only website will experience some scheduled downtime over the next two days.  

Construction is well under way on the fourteenth Disney Vacation Club resort.  Plans call for the addition of 26 waterfront cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, along with the conversion of nearly half of the resort's hotel rooms to villas.

Disney Vacation Club has employed a couple of different methods in guest rooms to sleep additional guests.  The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel was the first to feature a fold-down Murphy Bed in the living room of One and Two Bedroom Villas.  This option has more recently been used in Deluxe Studio villas, combining with a collapsable table to allow for versatility in the rooms.  Meanwhile some resorts were equipped with large armchairs which can fold flat into a twin-size bed.  Admittedly designers are limited by space and room design as to what will actually fit in any given villa.  But all things being equal, which is the preferred method for accommodating 5 guests in a DVC Studio or One Bedroom Villa?
