It has been two years since Disney filed the initial declaration for Island Tower villas at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Now, with this latest declaration, almost two-thirds of Island Tower’s vacation homes are part of the resort’s Disney Vacation Club inventory.
On July 22, 2026, Disney declared 19 vacation homes for the timeshare inventory at Island Tower. This latest declaration increases the number of vacation homes that Disney Vacation Club members can book using points from 123 to 142. There are still 80 vacation homes at Island Tower that have not yet been declared and are still under the control of Disney.
This declaration, like the previous declaration made on March 31, 2026, has two residential units. Unit 94A has nine vacation homes while unit 94B has ten vacation homes. Combined, the two units add one Duo Studio, nine Tower Studios, two dedicated One-Bedroom villas, four Lockoff Two-Bedroom villas, and three dedicated Two-Bedroom villas. The 19 newly declared vacation homes are located on the fifth floor of the Tower building on the side closest to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
In terms of Disney Vacation Club points, Unit 94A has 142,934 DVC points allotted to it, while unit 94B has 195,090 points for a combined total of 338,024 DVC points. This latest declaration brings the number of declared points at Island Tower to 2,318,156 points, which is 64.2% of the Island Tower’s 3,608,934 estimated total points.
The breakout of all declared vacation homes by accommodation type is as follows:
- 27 of 39 Duo Studios
- 54 of 91 Tower Studios
- 19 of 26 Dedicated One-Bedroom Villas
- 34 of 46 Lockoff Two-Bedroom Villas
- 6 of 16 Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas
- 2 of 4 Two-Bedroom Deluxe Villas
The 80 vacation homes not yet declared are under the control of Disney. It can use those accommodations as cash reservations, for marketing purposes, or any other reason Disney chooses.
Although the legally-declared rooms are located on the building's fifth floor, incoming guests can be assigned any matching accommodation type on any floor of the building.
