Led by very strong sales for the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, 223,676 Disney Vacation Club points were sold in January, an increase of 56.5% when comparing sales for the same resorts in December 2014.

As recently as January 2012 buyers could purchase points at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas for $120 per point with incentives reducing the price further. In May 2013 the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort debuted at $145 per point. Today the price for all three resorts being actively marketed--Aulani, Disney's Polynesian Villas and Grand Floridian--rises to $165 per point.
