It has been nearly a year since we learned that Disney Vacation Club plans to expand and enhance The Paddock-area pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Now we finally know when work will begin.
Website StitchKingdom.com is reporting that the current Paddock leisure pool at Saratoga Springs will close on December 3, 2010 to begin the expansion project.
The current pool area will be all but demolished as the pool is dramatically enlarged and enhanced with a water slide and fountain play area. Locker rooms and a quick service restaurant will also be added.
The new pool complex is scheduled to open on June 30, 2011, although this date is subject to change as construction progresses.
