Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort are just two of the five Disney Vacation Club destinations that will receive special displays for the 2023 holiday season.

Walt Disney World has confirmed that its popular gingerbread displays will return to several deluxe resorts this fall. Along with the Contemporary and Grand Floridian, Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas will have holiday-themed displays throughout the Christmas season. And joining the list for 2023 will be Disney's Yacht Club Resort with a brand new display of its own.

While the exact nature of each display was not confirmed, most resort follow a similar pattern from year to year. Grand Floridian is home to the popular life-size gingerbread house, which also serves as a retail shop for gingerbread "singles" and other sweets. The Beach Club lobby traditionally displays a working carousel made from chocolate and other baked goods, while the BoardWalk hosts a replica of the restaurants and shops located along the resort exterior.

Christmas decor typically arrives at the resorts and theme parks in early November, shortly after the end of the Halloween season.
