During June and July, guests at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villas will have to maneuver around a number of refurbishment projects involving the resort's sidewalks and stairways.
Starting on June 13 and running through approximately June 24, 2011, maintenance crews are scheduled to repair and replaced the sidewalks on the villa side of the resort.
Following the completion of that project both of the resort's exterior staircases will be replaced. This includes the staircase located near the Village Green which runs from the lobby level (2nd floor) to the BoardWalk shopping level (1st floor) as well as the staircase from the port cochere to the BoardWalk level. The stairway refurb is scheduled to run from June 29 to July 20, 2011.
While the stairways are being replaced, guests will utilize resort elevators and emergency stairwells in order to move from upper floors to the ground floor.
Reminder the refurbishment dates are estimates only and are adjusted when necessary.
