The Walt Disney Company's massive expansion plan for its west coast theme park complex has cleared another hurdle. 

Beginning in January 2024, Disneyland Resort will implement changes to its early entry program for hotel guests, including Disney Vacation Club members staying at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. 

Guests who reside outside the state of California will soon be able to visit Disneyland again, but Disney Vacation Club members who do not already have a reservation are probably out of luck. 

Disney CEO Bob Chapek revealed that both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will reopen to guests just days before the resort's Disney Vacation Club property. 

The Anaheim City Council has approved a 30-year extension of Disneyland Resort's admission tax waiver in exchange for a promise to invest $1 billion on its California theme park complex.
