Disney Vacation Club has issued a statement confirming our report from last week suggesting that sales of the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel will soon be complete.

DVCNews.com has learned that active point sales for the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel will begin winding down soon.

A recent report at website MiceAge.com indicates that Disney Vacation Club members will soon be getting their own private entrance to Disney's California Adventure.  We did some checking to see what we could dig up regarding this rumored new entrance.

MousePlanet.com has word on refurbishment work currently under way in the pool complex at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.

Early buyers at The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel were given the opportunity to become Founding Members at the resort.  This priviledge was reserved for current Disney Vacation Club members who purchased 160 or more points within a specified timeframe.  In addition to the Founding Member designation, these indivdiuals received an attractive print which mirrors artwork displayed within the resort itself.  Photos and other details follow.
