Even with Disney Vacation Club points to pay for the room, discounted ticket media and dining discounts, Disney vacations are still an expensive venture.  A family of four could spend well over $2000 for annual passes, hundreds of dollars per day to eat and thousands just for transportation to the Orlando or Anaheim area.  

Rather than paying 18% on a credit card, it makes sense to have a plan to pay those bills when they occur.
