Half price tickets for "Disney After Hours"

Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders are eligible for a 50% discount on the remaining "Disney After Hours" dates.

Magic Kingdom

After finding that a 100% discount was warmly received by DVC members, Disney has apparently decided to try discounting the evening parties by just 50%.

On the nights of April 28, May 5, May 8, May 12 and May 19, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom will remain open 3 extra hours, exclusively for individuals purchasing tickets to the "Disney After Hours" event.  Very limited admission numbers means unprecendented access to nearly every attraction in the theme park.

The event is regularly priced at $149 per person but DVC members and Annual Passholders can now purchase tickets for just $75 each.   To order call 407-560-7277 or visit a ticketing location at Walt Disney World.

Sounds like "Disney After Hours" isn't the cash cow the bean counters were hoping for.

Even at half price it isn't a deal.

Yeah, My wife and I were just discussing this and I said that at half price I would consider doing it during PEAK crowd times but as I have said before, over a 14 day stay our fast passes more than cover everything that we want to ride and then some.

At the discounted price, I would definitely consider it if they continue to offer this event. It wouldn't be an every trip thing, but I could see splurging on this at times. A relatively empty MK - :goodvibes:

it could be good for arrival day, or if going off site for the morning and afternoon and not using up a full day ticket. I'll be going every other year for 25 or more years. I'm good though :)

I wonder if kids under 3 get to do it for free?
