Earlier this week Disney Vacation Club held the first of its Merry Member Mixer events for the 2011 Holiday season.

In past years the Mixer has been held in locations such as Epcot's International Gateway and Disney's Contemporary Resort. This year the Mixer has moved to Epcot's World Showplace Pavilion.
The new site gives Disney Vacation Club an expansive, climate controlled location to host the ever-growing member base.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse pose for photos in their holiday garb. Across the room Goofy and Pluto (not pictured) are also available for meet-and-greets. Note that character appearances may vary from week to week.
A DJ plays catchy dance tunes to entertain members.
Complimentary refreshments include gingerbread cookies, hot chocolate and spiced apple cider.
Trading pins are available for purchase, including the exclusive Holiday DVC member pin.
All attending families receive a DVC-themed Holiday ornament dated for the 2011 season.
Merry Member Mixers are scheduled for the next three Tuesdays: December 6, 13 and 20. The event runs from 3:00 - 5:00pm at Epcot's World Showplace Pavilion which is located between the Canada and United Kingdom pavilions. The Mixers are exclusively offered to Disney Vacation Club members and their friends & family. There is no charge for the event, but Epcot theme park admission is required.
