Disney Vacation Club is bringing its traveling road show to Boston, Massachusetts the weekend of Thursday June 18 to Sunday June 21, 2009.

On the eve of Disney Vacation Club opening its Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the Orlando Sentinel takes a look at Disney's somewhat risky timeshare expansion during a period of economic uncertainty.

Disney Vacation Club continues to experiment with unique methods of reaching new customers.  In June they will host a series of webcasts to discuss the benefits of Disney Vacation Club ownership.

The Walt Disney Company reported its FY 2009 second quarter earnings on Tuesday.  The numbers show a 46% drop in profit from the same period in FY 2008.  The Parks and Resorts division, which includes Disney Vacation Club, was particularly hard-hit with a 50% decline in earnings.
