The winter 2012 issue of Disney Files Magazine confirms previous reports that Disney Vacation Club members would soon receive complimentary D23 membership, but few additional details are revealed.  

Back in September Disney Vacation Club VP Claire Bilby briefly mentioned a weekly member gathering being planned for the Disneyland Resort.  Additional details are now available for this event and a similar gathering at Disney's Aulani resort in Hawai'i.

The 2012 Member Merry Mixers are now underway.  As in prior years, Mixer attendees will receive a complimentary holiday ornament courtesy of Disney Vacation Club.
