It appears the current wave of Disney Vacation Club purchase incentives will be ending soon. Postcards have been sent to members indicating that the free Disney Cruise incentive will end on August 15, 2009. Other incentive offers are reportedly scheduled to end August 20, 2009.
DVC is certain to unveil new promotional offerings after these expire. But as always, the question remains whether new offers will be better or worse than those currently available. Discounts have progressively increased throughout 2009. Will that trend continue?
We have clarified some information regarding the purchase incentives currently being offered by Disney Vacation Club. In order to receive the lowest prices, new members must have a referral from an existing DVC member. The referral will save buyers an additional $6-8 per point on the purchase. The Disney Cruise Line voyages are also still available, but only with a reduced cash discount.
Additional details can be found on our Pricing & Promotions page.
We are also hearing that those who attend the Bay Lake Tower preview events in the coming weeks will be offered prices a couple dollars per point lower than what is currently available to the general public.Add a comment
