August 2015 Webcast

The webcast, which runs for about 20 minutes, highlights many of the features of the Polynesian and includes video of the studios, the over-the-water bungalows, the renovated Lava Pool and water play area, and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.

Kate and Juliette have been DVC members for several years and they share their experiences using their membership. During the webcast, they talk about the advantages of being DVC members, such as taking more frequent family vacations, having access to larger accommodations with a full kitchen, and the flexibility of vacationing at different times of the year. Kate and Juliette even talk about using their DVC points for vacations on the Disney Cruise Line.

Although the Polynesian is the focus of the webcast, Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas is prominently mentioned throughout the webcast. Kate and Juliette also talk about using their points for vacations at other DVC resorts, including Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort.

After the webcast, viewers can click on a link for the latest promotional incentive from Disney Vacation Development. There are no special offers for the Polynesian. Members interested in adding on at least 100 points for Aulani can save $14 off the base price of $165 a point. This offer is good until October 4, 2015. Details of the webcast offer are as follows:

Thank you for joining us for Member Moms On Assignment, presented by Disney Vacation Club®. We invite you to take advantage of our current offer by adding on at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai‘i.

Save at least $1,400 – that’s the estimated value of your first two full years of Annual Dues – when you add on.

To take advantage of this special, limited-time offer, simply call the number on your screen and speak with a Disney Vacation Club Guide, before October 4, 2015.  Offer requires current Members to purchase an add-on equal to 100 or more Vacation Points at Aulani. Savings is in the form of a $14 per-Vacation-Point credit (off the purchase price of Membership), estimated to be the cumulative cost of Annual Dues at Aulani in 2016 and 2017, calculated at an assumed 5% increase each year ($6.85 and $7.15 per-Vacation Point, respectively) over the $6.51 per-Vacation Point cost of 2015 Annual Dues at Aulani. This offer does not remove the obligation of paying actual Annual Dues for 2016 and 2017. Members will still receive statements for the 2016 and 2017 Annual Dues which must be paid by January 15 of each year and Members are responsible for paying all actual Annual Dues amounts when due, for the life of the Membership. Annual Dues are calculated on a per-Vacation-Point basis and have historically increased at a rate of 3% annually at Aulani. Credit does not represent any portion of the minimum down payment required. Offer expires October 4, 2015. Guaranteed Weeks at Aulani are not eligible for this offer. Savings cannot be combined with select Disney Vacation Club offers or discounts and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice. Additional restrictions may apply.

Viewing opportunities for the Member Moms on Assignment webcast continue through Sunday, September 6, 2015. Details and registration links can be found at http://www.disneyvacationclubwebevent.com.
