November 2014 was a very slow month for direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points. In fact, November had the least amount of points sold since the tracking of monthly sales began in July 2010. Only 96,614 points were sold, marking the first time that the monthly point total failed to reach the 100,000 point mark.
Direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points increased slightly in October 2014, climbing 5.2% over the previous month. A total of 135,583 points were sold, of which 70.5% were for the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Owners planning to attend the annual state-of-the-club meeting can now register on the official Disney Vacation Club members-only website.
The "Notice of 2014 Annual Meetings" for each Disney Vacation Club resort--which includes budget figures for the coming year--have begun appearing in members mailboxes. Annual increases range from 1.1% for owners of Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Aulani to a 5.6% increase for owners of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
