Disney Vacation Club has published the new points charts for all 17 of its native properties. Most resorts experienced no changes, other than calendar-based adjustments to the seasons for different holidays. However, two resorts stand out with noteworthy changes from 2026 to '27.

The first is Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. Across most seasons, the cost of Value and Club Level villas increased, while Savanna View rooms saw a modest decrease in the nightly cost. To illustrate, during the fall period of October 1 through mid-November, the weekly cost of a Value Studio increased by one point per night from 76 points in 2026 to 83 points in 2027. Meanwhile a Club Level Studio went from 165 to 188 points for the same period. Meanwhile the weekly cost of a Savanna View Studio decreased from 135 to 123 points.

Reallocations of this nature typically require the developer to keep the overall yearly point totals unchanged, taking points away from the cost of some dates and room types while increaseing elsewhere.

Less clear is are the changes at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. During the cheapest season of the year--the month of September--virtually all room types and views experienced an increase in nightly point cost. Nearly everything from the Resort View Duo Studio to the Theme Park View Two Bedroom Penthouse went up by 1-2 points per night. What isn't immediately clear is the areas where point costs decreased. According to the charts currently posted, there is no obvious offset for the nightly increases.

Some have theorized that Disney Vacation Club may be altering the view category of some undeclared rooms to compensate. Since the 2024 opening of Island Tower, members have been critical of the balcony view offered by some rooms originally classified as Theme Park View. Rooms which face more in the direction of Disney's Contemporary Resort, offering an obstructed view of the Magic Kingdom.

In theory, the offset for some of the point increases could be reclassifing some villas from Theme Park View to a lower-priced Preferred View.  However, that is purely speculation at this time.

As the timeshare manager, Disney Vacation Club reserves the right to modify the charts to better reflect member reservation patterns. There are limits to how much the cost of a single night can change from year to year, making any significant changes a gradual 2-3 year process. Relatively modest adjustments made over the last 4-5 suggests that DVC is seeing a reasonable balance of demand across the seasons.
