Disney Vacation Club members can now register to receive Association Notices via email rather than printed hard copy.
At the December 2012 Condominium Association Meeting, board members approved an amendment allowing members to receive certain program notices via email. Sign-ups are now being accepted from those wishing to convert to the electronic distribution.
Among the documents that will be distributed electronically are:
- News and updates from Disney Vacation Club Condominium Association
- Meeting notices for Disney Vacation Club Condominium Association
- Information about Annual Dues
The document most immediately impacted by this change is the (approximately) 12-page Notice of Annual Meetings and proposed resort budget sent to owners in late-November each year. Members who sign-up for the electronic distribution will receive this information via email beginning in 2013.
The nature of other condo association "news and updates" which fall under this heading remains to be seen. The email registration process specifies that this distribution is different from other Disney Vacation Club communications members may currently receive via email.
