This weekend Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel played host to California’s first official member event.   Originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday the event was extended an additional night on Friday to accommodate the unexpected demand from members. 

Last week we reported on Edelman Productions' efforts to recruit Disney Vacation Club members to appear in a program slated to air on The Travel Channel.  Today they updated their casting profile to target members who have used DVC points for the Disney Cruise Line or select Concierge Collection destinations.

The Travel Channel is well-known in Disney fan circles for producing a wide range of programs which delve into Disney's theme parks and resorts throughout the world.  Now they are venturing into the Disney Vacation Club world.
