Disney Vacation Club appears poised to increase its direct prices for points by nearly 5% at several resorts.

September is a historically slow month for Disney Vacation Club direct sales and 2022 was no different. Nevertheless point sales for Disney's Riviera Resort continued to outpace Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. 

Disney appears to be concentrating it marketing efforts on its two newest Disney Vacation Club resorts, while demand for the other “sold-out” resorts has dropped to historically low levels.

The 2022 final tax bills for the Disney Vacation Club resorts at Walt Disney World have not yet been released, but initial numbers suggest that property taxes are going up.
