Disney Vacation Club is offering some attractive new deals for points at three older locations: Bay Lake Tower, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. Prices for the four newest destinations are largely unchanged, though Chase Disney Visa cardholders are eligible for an added bonus.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House
Disney Vacation Club's spring offers seemed to be well received, prompting an upturn in direct sales. Rates have been simplified with a flat discount depending upon one's status as a current owner or first-time buyer. While the "Welcome Home" offer for current Disney guests varies depending upon the size of the purchase.
In addition to the incentives listed below, Chase Disney Visa Cardholders are eligible for an additional $1000 discount for any purchase of 150 or more points. This promotion appears to apply only to the four actively-selling resorts: Aulani, Disney's Riviera Resort, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Interested buyers are encouraged to reach out to a DVC salesperson for clarification.

200 points purchased at a base price of $225 would cost $45,000 with no incentives applied. However, a first time buyer saves $2,600 via the per-point incentive (200 x $13) and an additional $2,500 from the Welcome Home promotion. That lowers the effective net rate to $39,900 or $199.50 per point.
A current DVC owner adding 200 points would save $3,400 via the per-point incentive plus $3,750 for the Welcome Home discount, for an net price of $37,850 or $189.25 per point.
These prices are unchanged from spring 2024 for the new owner, while the current member adding points saves an additional $750 off the 200-point purchase.

Disney's Riviera Resort sports the same $225 base price and $13/$17 discounts. However the value of the Welcome Home offer varies. At the same 200 point level, Riveira points cost a little more than the Cabins at $202 net for first-time buyers, while current owners a slightly higher effective rate of $193 per point.
Going up to 250 points pushes Riviera lower than the Cabins thanks to a bump in the Welcome Home offer, with effective rates of $185.75 per point for new owners and $178 for current owners adding-on. Both of these numbers are markedly lower than the spring 2024 incentives.

The last of the four active resorts, The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, sports a higher base price at $239 each. Performing similar calculations on 200 points yields a rate of $203.50 for new owners and $197 each for add-ons. Both of these rates are unchanged from the spring.
These rates remain an improvement over the winter 2024 incentives, which offered first-time buyers savings of just $5-10 per point off an initial 150 point purchase. Add-on savings started at $7-8 each for 100 or more.
Last quarter, Disney Vacation Club drew a lot of attention with deep discounts for Disney's Old Key West Resort which took the effective rate all the way down to $115 per point when buying 1000 or more. This time around, similar discounts are available for two other older destinations:

With the base price of $205 for Saratoga Springs, a first-time owner could get buy-in for $175 per point on 200 points, while a current owner would pay $165 each adding-on. Rates fall as low as $150 each for a 500-point purchase or $140 for a 500-point add-on.

A higher base price of $275 for this "sold out" resort means it will still be one of the more expensive options. A 200 point purchase will cost about $245 each for first-time buyers and $230 for current members adding-on at Bay Lake Tower.

At a base price of $210, first time buyers could get 200 points for $190 each or $175 for owners adding-on. The best available price is $165 each for a first-time purchase of 500 or more, or $155 for an owner adding-on.
Buyers may also wish to inquire about Magical Beginnings, a program under which Disney Vacation Club will often "buy-back" the first year's points in exchange for a one-time credit of $20 each.
