The direct price for Disney Vacation Club points will soon climb just a bit higher.
Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas
DVC has revealed plans to increase the base cost of points at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas from $171 per point to $176 per point. The increase is scheduled to occur on January 18, 2017.
In the meantime, points remain available at the lower rate with incentives that offer roughly a 10% point bonus at the time of purchase. Buyers of 200 points at Aulani or the Polynesian will receive 20 points at no additional cost. However, the owner is responsible for annual dues on the bonus points.

Note this promotion is scheduled to end on January 17, just ahead of the price increase. No word on what sort of discounts are planned after the higher rate goes into effect.
