The Friendship water taxis operating in the Epcot resorts area are headed for some downtime in November and December.
A notice posted by The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort indicates that the Friendship boats on Crescent Lake will be out of service from November 28 through December 18, 2018.
Disney has confirmed that this interruption will impact all resorts around Crescent Lake including Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas and Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. Boat service to and from Epcot will not be offered from late-November until mid-December.
The International Gateway park entrance will remain open to foot traffic. The Dolphin and Swan resorts are expected to add round trip bus service to Epcot.
Boats will continue to run from all Epcot resorts to and from Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Friendship boat service was previously interrupted back in May and June of this year to complete repairs on several of the bridges above the waterway.
