Walt Disney World revealed that its dining plans would be available to guests booking vacation packages in 2024, though there is no confirmation of whether Disney Vacation Club owners could partake in the pre-paid dining option.
On January 9, 2024, the Disney Dining Plan makes its return after a nearly 4 year hiatus. Two options will be offered, down from the four dining options Disney provided back in 2020.
- Quick Service Dining Plan: 2 quick service meals and 1 snack item per night of stay, along with a length-of-stay refillable beverage mug
- Disney Dining Plan: 1 table service meal, 1 quick service meal and 1 snack item per nigth of stay, along with a length-of-stay refillable beverage mug
While Disney stated that these two dining options would return, exact terms were not confirmed and should be considered subject to change. The plans have been modified a number of times of the years, most notably to remove an apptizer from the table service meal and later to add the refillable mug. Also no prices were disclosed.
Gone are the Disney Dining Plan Plus and the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, both higher-priced options which allowed greater access to table service meals.
The dining plans are length-of-stay options which much be purchased for all registered guests and all nights of a single Disney resort stay. Disney did not explicitly confirm that Disney Vacation Club members would be able to purchase the Dining Plans, however members did have access for many years before they were discontinued in early 2020.
