The My Disney Experience app for smartphones and tablets has been recently enhanced to include the online check-in feature.
Up to sixty days prior to arrival, Walt Disney World resort guests--including those with Disney Vacation Club reservations--can now use the My Disney Experience app to enter their check-in details.
Similar to features which have long been offered on the Disney website, the MDE process allows guests to specify their arrival time, room requests (which are not guaranteed), enter credit card information and charging PIN codes and more. Guests who have completed this process and received their MagicBands prior to arrival should be able to completely bypass the resort front desk.
The hotel or villa room number will be send as a notification via the My Disney Experience app when the room is ready for occupancy and access will be immediately enabled via the MagicBand.

The My Disney Experience app is available for Apple and Android devices. It can be downloaded via the respective app stores at no cost.
